Equitable Access to KAT
We are committed to accessibility
Since our inception, Riverbird Clinic has been committed to serving our diverse community and making this treatment as accessible as possible. In 2021, through our partnership with Good Medicine Collective, we created an Equitable Access Fund to support increased access to Ketamine-Assisted Therapy to those with financial barriers.
These funds are made up of generous donations by community members, former clients who want to “pay it forward”, clinicians who have worked pro bono and generously donated their wages, and other donation-based fundraising events. We continue to find creative ways to raise money to ensure the vitality of this fund so we are able to support those with financial barriers, particularly for individuals from marginalized communities. During our application process, there is the option to apply for a reduced rate of treatment.
This fund allows us to offer sliding scale rates to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford treatment. Due to these great efforts, since its creation, we have provided over a thousand hours of scholarship and pro bono treatment.
To support making this powerful treatment modality available to those who need it, please consider making a donation. 100% of your donation will go directly into our Equitable Access Fund.
Greater Accessibility through an exciting Partnership
We are now collaborating with Thank You Life, a psychedelic therapy non-profit with a mission to increase accessibility. This partnership allows us to offer even further reductions in treatment costs, beyond what our funding may have resources for. It can fill the gap to allow those with the greatest barriers to access this powerful treatment modality.
Don’t let finances stop you from reaching out for help.
