Join us for an intimate evening of connection and courageous conversation featuring a short documentary screening followed by a live Q&A with Heather Lee — the featured facilitator in the film, guiding three women with terminal cancer through a deeply personal psilocybin retreat experience.
Heather is a trailblazer at the intersection of women’s mental health, psychedelic wellness, and integrative psychology. Sign up here by donating! As one of the nation’s first certified Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapists — and one of the first licensed psilocybin facilitators in the state of Colorado —she brings more than 30 years of clinical expertise to her work. A licensed clinical social worker, breast cancer survivor, and author, Heather’s work is rooted in compassion, embodied healing, and the belief that profound transformation can emerge even in life’s most vulnerable moments.
Heather’s professional path includes advanced training in Mind/Body Medicine through the Harvard Mind/Body Medical Institute, as well as serving as Coordinator of Women’s Mind/Body Wellness Education at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Her clinical focus centers on mind-body balance, end-of-life care, and empowered aging for women. Today, Heather designs and facilitates psilocybin retreats across Colorado, Spain, Portugal, and Mexico, working to create safe and soulful spaces for healing, insight, and transformation.
This gathering offers a rare opportunity to learn more about the rapidly evolving psychedelic landscape from someone offering this work legally on the frontlines of psychedelic-assisted care. Through the film and conversation, attendees will gain insight into the real-world practice of above-ground facilitation, the therapeutic and spiritual potential of psilocybin, and the depth of responsibility and humanity that guides this emerging field.
Together, the evening invites honest dialogue around grief, healing, consciousness, and what it means to live fully — even in the face of uncertainty. Come witness a moving story of courage and care, and engage in a meaningful conversation about the future of psychedelic-assisted therapy.
